Reasonable prices, friendly host and a diverse selection of cocktails, beers, spirits, etc. You can even eat until 10 p.m. The pizzas are homemade and taste very tasty. I have one small point of criticism regarding the size of the cocktails. The cocktails cost about 6 € to 8 € but the glasses are unfortunately relatively small. However, you should reserve a table at the weekend. Otherwise it will be difficult to find a place.

Hotzenplotz is a great old bar with a unique atmosphere where you can meet lots of students. It's a perfect spot to talk to friends or play cards. Try out a Laternchen, a unique local type of drink which is only offered in select bars in Darmstadt.
